  1. Hey there are plenty of geeky films I have NEVER seen or, there have been plenty of times where I’ve said online… not just on podcasts that I have no interest in seeing something. Like Walking Dead, I have LESS THAN ZERO… interest in watching that. And that’s a huge geek thing right now.

As I said in the comments on the sports ep we di with the SportsGalPal…. I love Baseball, Hockey, Football, and Basketball, on a pro level, but I just never talk about it all that much. It’s not that I don’t want to, it’s that I have so many interests that my love for sports just ends up being last on the list of something I wanna talk about.

    1. I don’t get that either. Why do you have to comment about not having interest in something. Like what’s the point. I get if someone asks the question, but why do you need to tell people you don’t have interest in something. Its a big world, people are going to be into things you aren’t. That’s okay. Why waste time and energy proclaiming your non interest. Its almost selfish. Like people need the world to be revolve around them and if somethings is being talked about that doesn’t involved them they need to find a way to comment any ways.

  2. Geeks really blow my mind sometimes. They are the only group I can think of that actively and regularly have to talk about things they aren’t going to do or tell people they aren’t interested in something. Every time the Super Bowl comes around all I see are geeks talking about how they don’t care. Like god forbid the world does something you aren’t into. You know what I don’t see when Avengers or Batman movie comes out. People on social media talking about how they aren’t going to go see it or how they don’t have any interest. Just because geek culture is big right now doesn’t mean every major event has to be focused on it.

      1. I’m not saying that’s what you said. I am saying I don’t understand why geeks need to make such a big deal over them not liking the Super Bowl. It’s not just you. I know if I check social media that day most of it will be filled with people commenting on how they couldn’t care less about the Super Bowl. My point is, why make a big deal about not caring about something. Why do people feel the need to make a point about not having any interest in something.

        1. Yeah I may have only commented here. I realize a TON of people enjoy it. Which is cool. Not everyone is a comic geek. As we mentioned prior Sports Geeks are just as caring for their craft. I can agree with your statement though. I guess a lot of it comes out when we communicate on the internet because back in the day (I sound old) or late 1990’s even it wasn’t possible to really voice opinions.

  3. Paypals logic makes no sense. This is from their site regarding VPN.

This includes transactions for any device or technological measure that descrambles a scrambled work, decrypts an encrypted work or otherwise avoids, bypasses, removes, deactivates or impairs a technological measure without the authority of the copyright owner.

So, I’m not longer able to encrypt (and thereby decrypt) copyrighted material? So, all home wifi routers that use WEP are against the rules. Heck, watching Netflix over HTTPS is against the rules; I didn’t get the copyright owner’s permission to decrypt my end of the HTTPS traffic.

    Also:

Under the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy, PayPal may not be used to send or receive payments for items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy, or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction

A VPN doesn’t “infringe or violate any copyright” A person does. They’re assuming if a person buys a VPN service that they’re using it to violate copyright, but I use a VPN all the time for legal activity that I don’t want my ISP to track.

Comparatively, it would be as if Paypal blocked companies which sold knives because they have a policy against murder.
