  1. I think Political Correctness does matter but it is a double edged sword. It is important we move to have more diversity within our culture and be more inclusive. Art and entertainment should be a reflection of the society it is presented to so if there is a lack of diversity there is a failure that should be adjusted. Also not demonizing people that are actually ‘retarded’ or bullying people that are different makes us better people.

With that said people can take it too far. Whether its forcing everyone to say Merry Christmas or forcing everyone not too. I don’t think that honestly happens as much as people complain about it. People make a big deal out of Starbucks Christmas cups but the vast majority of people don’t really care.

That’s more my issue is when a mountain is made out of a mole hill. Like I remember when Civil War came out there was this big deal that people were demanding Cap and Winter Solider be gay but it really was like five people with fake Twitter accounts. That and people who are hypocritical about it. Who don’t look at their complaints as political correctness. Like the person who will complain they made X23 part Mexican but then also demand the movie be PG-13 with less violence and swearing. Both of those are elements of correctness that are politically motivated.
